Thanks to @johnnyroper and @deltaboy for the advice on removing/unplugging the connector, once you know what to look for that is simple enough.
Dec 17, 2022 · The USB socket should be protected from shorts or over voltage. I would first check is there is 5V present across pin 1 @ 4 of the USB socket with a multimeter (a USB led lamp is also useful for this). If no voltage is present then Check for any blown fuses.

Jul 9, 2012 · The proceedure should be the same for most but some things may be located in different places for different models so if in doubt check your owners manual. 1. Replace the fuse (less than £1) Remove the cover to the main fuse box located to the right of the steering wheel. The horn fuse is the bottom left fuse and should be yellow (20 amp).
Apr 12, 2016 · As far as I remember free FES/MES only support some of ECUs, e.g. 1.9JTDM, but not my TBI for sure. Not sure what engine we are talking about (except that Diesel). Re KKL cable - as far as I read not much can be done with that one (maybe it depends on Software, at least with FES/MES).
